The national Moroccan team conducted two training sessions today at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maamora as part of their preparations for the upcoming matches against Niger and Zambia in the qualifying rounds for the 2026 World Cup.

The morning session focused on physical conditioning and recovery, while the evening session was dedicated to tactical and technical aspects under the supervision of national coach Walid Regragui alongside his technical team.

All players participated in the training amidst an atmosphere of discipline and focus, reflecting the high motivation of the team members as they gear up for these important fixtures.

The training session saw the arrival of Bilal El Khannous, Nayef Aguerd, and Achraf Dari, completing the attendance of all players. El Khannous joined the camp following his transfer from Leicester City to VfB Stuttgart, while Aguerd moved from West Ham to Olympique de Marseille in the final hours of the summer transfer window. Dari attended to provide a medical report on his injury, seizing the opportunity to greet his teammates and support the group.

With this, Regragui now has all available players ahead of the first match against Niger, scheduled for next Friday at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, starting at 8 PM. The Atlas Lions will then play their second match against Zambia in Lusaka on September 9.
