The city of Kenitra witnessed the funeral of Officer Mohsen today, Tuesday. He passed away as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic incident while performing his duties as part of the mobile emergency police unit in the Kenitra Security Directorate.

The ceremony was attended by the Kenitra Security Chief and several security officials, alongside a large gathering of citizens who accompanied the deceased to his final resting place in a moving scene that reflected the appreciation and recognition of the sacrifices made by security personnel.

In parallel, the Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Abdelatif Hammouchi, issued a decision granting the deceased a posthumous promotion to the rank of Police Captain in recognition of his dedication to his professional duties. The central human resources department has been tasked with registering this promotion in the deceased’s employment record and ensuring its benefits for his family, along with providing condolences and necessary support to his family in this significant tragedy.

Members of civil society and residents of the city expressed their deep sorrow over the loss of one of Kenitra’s dedicated sons, affirming that the deceased will remain a symbol of sacrifice and loyalty to the service of the nation.

The remains of the deceased were laid to rest in an atmosphere filled with both grief and pride, accompanied by calls to embody the values of selflessness and commitment to duty that he exemplified in his professional life.
