A shocking video reveals the abuse of a child in Casablanca, leading to the arrest of the mother and her partner.
Casablanca’s security services responded yesterday, Wednesday, to a video circulating on social media showing a child bearing signs of violence and burns on her body, accompanied by a comment claiming she was mistreated by her mother.
Investigations and inquiries helped identify the suspected mother of the abused child, along with a man involved in an illicit relationship with her, both aged 28 and 33, who were arrested in the Al-Fallah area of Casablanca.
In parallel, a protection protocol was activated for the 5-year-old girl, as she was admitted to the hospital for necessary treatment. A specialized unit has taken care of her to provide psychological and social support.
The arrested individuals are now in police custody pending judicial investigations overseen by the public prosecution to uncover the circumstances surrounding the case and the motives behind the video’s recording.
