Young Moroccan goalkeeper Omar Akzdaou has joined training with Spanish club Terrassa FC on loan from Wydad Athletic Club, a move aimed at gaining professional experience in Europe.

According to the Catalan newspaper Diari de Terrassa, Akzdaou began training with the first team last week and is currently participating in sessions under the supervision of coach Víctor Bravo to assess his abilities before his official matches with the Spanish side.

Akzdaou is considered one of the rising talents in Moroccan football, at 22 years old and standing 1.98 meters tall. He grew up in the Wydad Athletic Club academy and was promoted to the first team. He was also included in the squad for the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, although he did not play in the three matches.

His presence at Terrassa training indicates the club’s desire to strengthen the goalkeeper position with a young and promising player, while Akzdaou will gain valuable European experience before returning to Wydad Athletic Club at the end of his loan period.
