The regional judicial police in Nador opened a judicial investigation on Tuesday afternoon, September 16, under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor, to apprehend all those involved in the smuggling and sale of 1,066 units of fireworks and pyrotechnics.
An informed source noted that the operation resulted in the seizure of the shipment inside one of the commercial establishments in the city, where it was displayed for sale.
The police began the seizure procedures and opened a judicial investigation to identify all possible extensions of the criminal activity and to detain all contributors and participants.
This operation is part of the ongoing efforts of security services to combat the trafficking of explosive materials, given the danger they pose to the safety of individuals and property.
