Morocco participated today, Monday, in a high-level international conference on the peaceful resolution of the Palestinian issue and the implementation of the two-state solution, held on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Moroccan delegation was led by the Prime Minister, Aziz Akhannouch, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, and the Kingdom’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Omar Hilal.

The conference was co-chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, aiming to reaffirm international commitments regarding the two-state solution and to mobilize support for its implementation.

The meeting was attended by United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, President of the General Assembly Annalena Baerbock, along with representatives from various member states of the international organization.
