Moroccan artist Beni Issa Jirari highlights the support of the National Rally of Independents party for artists during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of the national tour “Path of Achievements” for the National Rally of Independents party, party member and artist Beni Issa Jirari expressed pride in belonging to this political family and its role in supporting artists and vulnerable groups in Morocco.
In his speech before the audience in Marrakech, Jirari explained that his affiliation with the party is a source of pride, asserting that the party always seeks to enhance the values of democracy, freedom, and respect for individual choices.
He shared personal anecdotes from his childhood, noting his love for theater and participation in local competitions, where he received awards for his theatrical work. He recounted humorous incidents and challenges he faced during his upbringing, which contributed to shaping his personality and artistic journey.
Jirari pointed out the difficult circumstances artists experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic, stressing that Morocco witnessed considerable hardship among different groups, particularly artists who initially did not receive adequate support from the state. However, he praised the efforts of individuals such as Mr. Said and Anwar El Jundi, who assisted artists from their personal resources to ensure the continuity of their artistic activities.
He added that after communicating with the leadership of the National Rally of Independents, he found a great response, as they encouraged him to establish a federation of artists within the party to support the artistic sector and related initiatives. He explained that the party opened its doors to this federation, emphasizing the importance of artistic projects and supporting national talents.
In conclusion, Jirari confirmed that life experience and knowledge grant a person a clear vision, praising the party leadership and the role the party plays in serving the nation and vulnerable groups, while extending greetings to all party members, artists, and citizens.
