Fouzi Lekjaa, the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, confirmed that Morocco is committed to organizing an exceptional edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to take place between December 21, 2025, and January 18, 2026.
Lekjaa stated in an interview with beIN Sports that Morocco’s readiness is well-known on both the continental and international levels, serving as a foundation for creating exceptional conditions that will make the upcoming tournament the best in the history of the continent.
He added that this readiness is the result of a developmental path led by King Mohammed VI for over a quarter of a century, during which the kingdom has provided advanced infrastructure in various fields, including sports, as part of a comprehensive development vision.
Lekjaa emphasized that Morocco will welcome its African brothers and the entire continental and international football community in a land of civilization and tolerance, affirming that the kingdom aims to make this edition a pivotal moment in the trajectory of African football.
