Fawzi Lekjaa, the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, received Pedro Proença, the president of the Portuguese Football Federation, today, Thursday. The meeting focused on exchanging views regarding preparations for the 2030 World Cup, which is set to be jointly organized by Morocco, Portugal, and Spain.
A statement from the federation indicated that the discussions covered various organizational and logistical aspects, in addition to exploring ways to coordinate among the three countries to ensure the tournament’s success and to provide the best possible welcome for teams and fans.
The Portuguese delegation also visited the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat and the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Salé to familiarize themselves with the sports facilities and the on-ground preparations related to the World Cup.
