Injuries Strike RS Berkane Ahead of Clash with Olympic Dchira
RS Berkane has issued a medical statement revealing the latest updates on player injuries just before their match against Olympic Dchira this evening, Friday, marking the beginning of the Inwi Professional League season.
Yassine Labhiiri: He underwent a successful surgical operation on his anterior cruciate ligament and is currently in the rehabilitation phase, with a return to team training expected by the end of December.
Abdelhak Assal: He suffered a fracture of the facial bone during his participation with the national local team in the “Chan”. He has begun individual training, with hopes of rejoining the group within ten days.
Munir Mohamadi: The international goalkeeper sustained an injury while with the first national team and will be out for a period of three to four weeks before returning to defend the Berkane side’s goal.
Sidi B: He suffered a thigh injury during recent training sessions, and medical examinations are ongoing to accurately determine the duration of his absence.
Haytham Manout: He participated in all stages of preparation and friendly matches; however, a severe cold may prevent him from participating against Dchira, though he should be ready for the encounter against Marrakech’s Kawkab in the second round next Tuesday.
The Berkane team heads into their opening match burdened by absences, yet they are relying on the readiness of the rest of their squad to start the season strongly.
