Morocco actively participated in the meeting of the Peace and Security Council of the African Union in Addis Ababa, reiterating its commitment to enhancing the continent’s climate resilience.
Under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Moroccan delegation emphasized the Kingdom’s determination to contribute to building a resilient continent capable of turning climate challenges into opportunities for shared development and prosperity.
The delegation confirmed Morocco’s readiness to work closely with various African stakeholders and international partners to address climate-related repercussions, thereby promoting peace, security, and sustainable development across the continent.
Morocco’s participation also highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to making the Atlantic Ocean a space for cooperation in environmental resilience by integrating environmental considerations within the framework of the Royal Atlantic Initiative.
