Extraordinary License Granted to Nasser Zefzafi to Leave Prison for His Father’s Funeral
The General Delegation for Prison Administration has granted Nasser Zefzafi, imprisoned in connection with the Hirak Rif protests, a temporary license to leave prison to attend the funeral of his father, Ahmed Zefzafi, who passed away on Wednesday evening after a long battle with illness.
Tariq Zefzafi, the late Ahmed’s son, announced via his Facebook page that the funeral prayers will take place today, Thursday, at the Old Mosque in Al Hoceima after the afternoon prayer, with the burial set to occur at the Martyrs’ Cemetery in Ajdir, the family’s hometown.
A video recently circulated showing Nasser Zefzafi receiving condolences from the residents of Al Hoceima, illustrating the community’s engagement with this sorrowful event.
