On royal instructions, General Inspector of the Royal Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mohammed Braid, welcomed Major General Moussa Salau Barme, Chief of Staff of the Nigerien Army, on September 23, 2025. This visit is part of a working trip to Morocco from September 21 to 27, during which he leads a high-level military delegation.

Discussions were held at the headquarters of the General Staff, attended by heads of relevant offices of the Royal Armed Forces, members of the Nigerien delegation, and the military attaché at the Nigerien Embassy in Rabat.

The meeting focused on enhancing military cooperation between Morocco and Niger, covering areas such as training, operational readiness of the forces, military healthcare services, and the exchange of visits and expertise.

The officials emphasized the strong fraternal ties between the Royal Armed Forces and the Nigerien Armed Forces, praising the quality of military relations based on mutual respect and ongoing cooperation.
