Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita congratulated Senegal’s new Foreign Minister, Sheikh Niang, during a phone call on Monday.
In this conversation, Bourita extended his sincere congratulations to his Senegalese counterpart on his appointment, wishing him success in his important responsibilities.
This call served as an opportunity for both ministers to reaffirm the unique nature of the relationship between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Senegal, which is based on a shared history, common values, and deep-rooted human connections between the two brotherly nations.
The ministers also renewed their mutual commitment to work together to strengthen these exceptional ties, in line with the high directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and His Excellency President Bassirou Dioussa Faye of Senegal.
