Aziz Akhannouch: The Path of Achievements Focuses on Citizens and Sustainable Development

Aziz Akhannouch, Secretary-General of the National Rally of Independents party, affirmed today during the party’s national tour “The Path of Achievements” in Marrakech that the main objective of the government and the party is to enhance comprehensive and sustainable development for the benefit of citizens.

Akhannouch noted that the meetings organized as part of this national tour reflect the excellence and tireless efforts of the party’s activists, and that direct communication with them contributes to strengthening the party’s power and supporting government programs.

In his speech, the Secretary-General highlighted a number of development achievements in the Marrakech-Safi region, particularly in the Al-Haouz area, which he visited yesterday. He emphasized the government’s efforts in housing, infrastructure, health, and education, explaining that the direct support program for families, which includes more than 1,000,000 households, has contributed to improving living conditions, enabling citizens to achieve proper housing, and stimulating the local economy.

He added that major projects related to roads, rural paths, educational institutions, and health centers demonstrate the government’s commitment to implementing reforms on the ground, in accordance with royal directives, with a focus on enhancing essential services for all citizens.

Akhannouch also highlighted the importance of developing education and promoting school sports, confirming that new education programs will reach all students by 2027, alongside strengthening the capacities of teachers and educational staff to ensure quality education and equal opportunities.

He noted that the government is working to improve citizens’ incomes and address the effects of global inflation through effective support policies for the middle class and expanding investment programs, ensuring continued economic growth and enhancing trust between citizens and institutions.

The Secretary-General concluded his speech by calling for continued efforts until the last day of the government’s term, emphasizing that all efforts are directed towards building a better future for Morocco and its citizens, in line with the aspirations of the people and the vision for national development.
