A Spanish delegation visits Kenitra in preparation for a partnership between Leganés and Kenitra Sports Club
On the morning of Friday, September 5, 2025, Kenitra Sports Club received an official delegation from the Spanish club Leganés, a move that observers characterized as historic, aimed at enhancing sports and cultural cooperation between the two parties. The meeting was led by Hakim Doumo, president of Kenitra Sports Club, along with local sports officials and interested stakeholders.
During the meeting, both parties focused on a draft partnership agreement that includes the exchange of expertise and experiences in sports training, developing youth categories, and supporting infrastructure, providing Kenitra players with the opportunity to engage with advanced European experiences.
Following that, executives from Kenitra Sports Club presented a strategic overview discussing youth training programs and building a new generation of players, before transitioning to topics related to the anticipated agreement, which encompasses technical collaboration and the exchange of training methodologies and selection techniques.
On the field, the Spanish delegation accompanied the club’s management on a visit to the “Suwairi” stadium and the “Oulad Ahrar” stadium, as well as the club’s schools, to familiarize themselves with training facilities and programs specific to youth categories, reflecting the commitment to implement the agreement in practice.
This partnership goes beyond sports to include cultural programs in Kenitra and Rabat, aimed at showcasing Moroccan heritage and enhancing communication among youth.
