The Moroccan national team for under-17 players has entered a closed training camp starting today, Monday, at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maâmora, in preparation for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation stated in a press release that this training camp, which will run until August 22, aims to assess the players’ physical and technical readiness as part of an intensive preparation plan for the global event.

National coach Nabil Bahe has called up 28 players to participate in this training session, drawn from various national clubs and training academies. The Mohammed VI Football Academy formed the largest base with seven players, along with participants from the clubs of RS Berkane, Wydad Casablanca, Fath Union Sport, Raja Casablanca, MAS Fez, Moghreb Tetouan, Chabab Mohammedia, and the Royal Army.

This training camp is part of a comprehensive preparation strategy by the federation and coaching staff to ensure a commendable participation in the World Cup, with hopes that the national team will deliver a performance befitting the evolution of Moroccan football on both continental and international stages.
