The automotive market in Morocco continues its upward trend, achieving remarkable growth in July 2025.
Car sales in Morocco saw a significant rise in July 2025, totaling 19,713 units, marking an increase of 38.64% compared to the same month in 2024, which recorded sales of 14,219 units, according to data released by the Moroccan Automobile Importers Association.
Sales of passenger vehicles rose by 39.42%, increasing from 12,701 units in July 2024 to 17,708 units in July 2025, reflecting a strong dynamism in this vital sector. Additionally, light commercial vehicles experienced a growth of 32.08%, with sales reaching 2,005 units this July, compared to 1,518 units during the same period last year.
Total car sales over the first seven months of 2025 reached 131,739 units, representing a 36.51% increase compared to 96,505 units sold during the same period in 2024.
This positive performance can be attributed to a rebound in demand, improved supply, and promotional campaigns launched by several companies and brands, which have helped bolster consumer confidence and encourage car purchases.
The Moroccan automotive market continues to trend upwards, driven by improvements in general economic indicators, increased purchasing power, and a growing interest in economical and sustainable vehicles.
