The Ministry of Urban Planning Accompanies Moroccans Abroad Through Transit Centers and Tetouan Airport
In line with the royal directives aimed at facilitating the stay of Moroccans abroad during the summer period, the Ministry of National Territorial Development, Urban Planning, Housing, and City Policy mobilized its various regional and provincial components to ensure an effective reception for community members, particularly at the transit center at Bab Sebta and Tetouan Sania Rmel Airport.
On Thursday, August 7, 2025, a number of officials conducted a field visit to the reception areas established at these two locations, including the Director of the Tetouan Urban Agency, the Regional Inspector of Urban Planning and Architectural Engineering, the Regional Director of Urban Development, the President of the Regional Council of Architects for the Tetouan area, and the acting Regional Director of Housing and City Policy, alongside staff and officials of these institutions.
This visit comes as part of the measures outlined in a circular from the Minister of National Territorial Development, within the framework of the national campaign launched by the ministry under the slogan “Urban Planning and Housing in the Service of Moroccans Abroad.” This initiative aims to introduce the community to the services offered by the ministry, particularly regarding direct housing support, updates in urban planning and housing, and facilitating investment procedures and benefits from urban projects.
The officials reaffirmed during this visit their commitment to implementing the royal instructions and working to provide effective and quality services for the Moroccan expatriates, reinforcing confidence in the available investment and housing opportunities in Morocco.
Additionally, the Tetouan Urban Agency has established an additional space at the reception area in the Zaman Center in Jebha, targeting Moroccans abroad passing through this point and providing them with the same services.
