The Ministry of Endowments clarifies the reasons for the dismissal of the President of the Scientific Council of Fkih Ben Saleh and responds to “exaggerations and misconceptions.”

In light of the controversy surrounding the decision to remove the President of the Local Scientific Council of Fkih Ben Saleh, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs issued a clarifying statement to provide relevant information on the matter and to refute what it deemed “exaggerations and misunderstandings” that accompanied some reactions. The statement also addressed the “exploitation by some of the decision to express malicious positions.”

The ministry emphasized that dismissals from positions are conducted according to clear legal procedures, whether related to regulated roles, requiring a court ruling or a report from a disciplinary council, or concerning non-regular assignments, which remain within the authority of the entity that issued the appointment.

The statement added that the individual in question personally acknowledged repeated absences, which were documented by the regional scientific council and escalated to the Higher Scientific Council before being used as a basis for the final decision by the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
