Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara’a to Attend the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly
A source in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Monday that Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara’a will participate in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly scheduled for next month in New York.
The source, who requested anonymity, indicated that al-Shara’a will deliver a speech during the proceedings of the General Assembly, marking the first address by a Syrian president at this international forum since 1967.
