Increase in Cement Sales in Morocco Exceeds 11% by the End of July

The cement sector in Morocco recorded significant growth during the first seven months of 2025, with sales exceeding 8.28 million tons, reflecting an increase of 11.03% compared to the same period in 2024, according to the Ministry of National Planning, Urbanism, Housing, and City Policy.

The ministry, in its monthly report, indicated that distribution accounted for the largest share of sales at 4.57 million tons, followed by ready-mix concrete at 2.04 million tons, pre-mixed concrete at 852,000 tons, infrastructure at 538,000 tons, construction at 236,000 tons, and finally mortar at 37,000 tons.

In July alone, sales reached 1.39 million tons, achieving an annual growth rate of 17.57% compared to the same month last year.

These statistics are based on data provided by companies that are members of the Professional Association of Cement Companies, including “Ciment Temara,” “Ciment de l’Atlas,” “Ciment du Maroc,” “LafargeHolcim Morocco,” and “Novacem,” which joined the association at the beginning of 2024.
