Achraf Hakimi and Paris Win the European Super Cup
Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi lifted the European Super Cup after his team triumphed over Tottenham in a penalty shootout.
Tottenham managed to take the lead against Paris on two occasions, first through Van de Ven and then defender Romero. However, South Korean player Heung-min Son reduced the gap for Paris in the 85th minute before Gonçalo Ramos equalized for the European champions in the 94th minute.
Paris then clinched the match in the penalty shootout, securing their first-ever European Super Cup title.
