Beni Mellal City Among the Ten Hottest Cities in the World
Various regions around the world are experiencing an unprecedented heat wave, with record temperatures recorded in multiple cities. This alarming rise in temperatures reflects the ongoing impact of climate change and raises concerns about its consequences for populations and the environment. In this context, the website “Eldorado Weather” has ranked Beni Mellal, Morocco, among the ten hottest cities globally today, after the city recorded a temperature of 46 degrees Celsius.
Three Iranian cities topped the list, namely Abadan, Ahvaz, and Omidieh, with temperatures ranging between 47.7 and 48.9 degrees Celsius.
The list also included three additional Iranian cities, alongside the Saudi city of Al-Ahsa, which recorded 45.2 degrees Celsius, and the Andalusia region in Spain at 44.9 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the Algerian regions of Adrar and Tindouf ranked eleventh and twelfth, respectively, while the “Ejido Nueva Leon” area in Mexico occupied the last spot with a temperature of 44.6 degrees Celsius.
