Raja Club Athletic Closes the Chapter on Disputes and Prepares for a Fresh Start in the 2025-2026 Football Season

In a decisive step towards enhancing stability and restoring balance to its sporting path, Raja Club Athletic has announced the resolution of legal disputes that have long burdened the club, both locally and internationally. This announcement marks a new beginning for the green club, paving the way for a more ambitious and goal-oriented football season.

Raja stated in an official communiqué that the total cost of settling these disputes exceeded 31 million dirhams, covering 36 varied cases, including those filed with FIFA and local issues, alongside warnings and protocols for contract termination. This development lifts the ban on registering new players and allows the club to fully focus on upcoming sporting commitments.

The club also affirmed that this move prepares the ground for registering new arrivals in anticipation of the 2025-2026 sports competitions, as part of a comprehensive plan to restructure the team and enhance its technical and administrative stability.

In the same vein, Raja announced the launch of an integrated action plan to strengthen its sporting strategy, which includes appointing a new sports director, signing influential players, integrating four promising talents into the first team, and loaning five others for further experience. Additionally, the club will amicably terminate contracts with three players who do not fit into the new sports project, in a bid to avoid any future disputes.
