The Moroccan national local team kicked off its journey in the African Nations Championship “CHAN 2024” with a victory against Angola, winning 2-0 in the match held on Sunday, as part of the group stage of the tournament.
The national squad succeeded in scoring the first goal through player Imad Rayahi, who received a precise pass from Rabi Hraymat in the 29th minute.
After the break, coach Tarik Sektioui’s team sought to strengthen their lead, which they achieved when Angolan player Joaquim Palanca scored an own goal in the 81st minute.
With this result, Morocco tops Group A with 3 points, while Angola occupies the last place with no points.
