Wydad Wins Championship Title and Continues Exceptional Season
The Wydad Athletic Club U-21 team crowned its season on Sunday by winning the National U-21 Championship title, following a 2-0 victory against Hassania Agadir in the final match held at the Abu Bakr Ammar Stadium in Salé.
The red team dominated the match, securing the title convincingly just days after earning promotion to the second amateur division, Northwest branch, by overcoming Chabab Salmi in the semifinals.
The team was coached this season by the duo of Ibrahim Al-Nakach and Abdul Latif Nasir, with Nasir taking over sole coaching responsibilities in the later stages of the season after Al-Nakach joined the technical staff of the first team. This achievement underscores the foundational work being done by the technical management of Wydad in preparing a new generation capable of supporting the first team in the upcoming seasons.
