The Royal Moroccan Boxing Federation is organizing the round of 16 and quarter-finals of the Moroccan Championship for the U22 and men’s categories in boxing for the 2024/2025 sports season. These events will take place from July 18 to 20, 2025, at the covered sports hall in Ain Sebaa, Casablanca, featuring participants from the Casablanca region, the southern provinces, the Souss-Massa region, and Marrakech-Safi. Additionally, matches will also be held at the covered sports hall in Oujda, with participation from the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region, Fez-Meknes region, the Eastern region, and the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region.
The organization of this significant national event by the Royal Moroccan Boxing Federation falls under its annual program and ongoing efforts, through its technical management, to discover new talent to strengthen the national teams across all categories. It also aims to promote the sport of boxing throughout the Kingdom.
The competitions will be held on two boxing rings in accordance with current international sports regulations. The round of 16 and quarter-finals are expected to feature intense and fierce matches among champions, all vying for qualification in the semi-finals and finals, and ultimately the national championship title, which would open new avenues in their sports careers.
In this context, the federation has invited participating regional leagues to send a representative to attend the draw process, which will take place on Thursday, July 17, at 8 PM in the competition hall. The weigh-in and medical examinations will occur from July 18 to 20, 2025, between 8 AM and 10 AM, with matches commencing in two sessions: the first session at noon and the second at 3 PM.
