The Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works in Education and Training has announced the opening of registration for the Hajj grant for eligible members wishing to perform the pilgrimage during the 1447 AH/2026 CE season.
The foundation urged its members to submit their applications through regional administrative units or send them to the central office in Rabat, within the timeframe from July 21 to August 8, 2025, which aligns with the deadlines set by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs for covering Hajj expenses.
Additionally, the foundation has provided an opportunity for members who were unable to submit their applications before the pilgrimage, or those who traveled through travel agencies, to apply for compensation after returning from the holy sites, with a deadline set for October 31, 2026.
The foundation has allocated a grant of 50,000 dirhams for members ranked at scale 9 or lower, or those with a gross monthly salary of less than 5,000 dirhams who do not hold a qualification equivalent to those recognized in the public sector. A financial aid of 40,000 dirhams is designated for members at scale 10 or its equivalent who will be 64 years or older by May 20, 2026.
The foundation clarified that it launched the Hajj cost support program more than twenty years ago and has continuously developed it to meet the needs of its members, expanding the eligibility criteria and increasing the grant amount in response to rising Hajj costs determined by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
Since the program’s inception until the end of 2024, more than 4,400 members have benefited from the Hajj grant, at a total cost nearing 120 million dirhams.
The foundation invites all those wishing to benefit from this grant to visit its official website at fm6education.ma or the dedicated Hajj service page for more details regarding eligibility criteria and application procedures.
