The draw advances the date… The Casablanca derby heats up in the fifth round

On Friday, the draw for the Moroccan professional league “Inwi” for the 2026-2025 season took place, amidst great anticipation from the fans of the national clubs, especially the Casablanca giants Raja and Wydad. The draw brought an early surprise for the fans, as it placed the two teams in a fiery confrontation during the fifth round, in what is considered one of the strongest and most prestigious derbies in African and Arab football.
This early match between the traditional rivals is one of the standout moments of the new season, as it is expected to take place in an atmosphere charged with excitement and competition, particularly given the significant preparations made by the management of both Raja and Wydad to bolster their squads for a season projected to be fiery on all fronts.
