The Casablanca Stock Exchange Begins Trading with a Decline

The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading on Monday with a decline; its main index, the “MAZ” index, dropped by 0.6 percent, settling at 18,884.5 points.

The “MASI.20” index, which reflects the performance of 20 listed companies, fell by 0.71 percent to 1,551.58 points.

Meanwhile, the MASI.ESG, which tracks companies with the best ratings, recorded a loss of 0.64 percent, settling at 1,308.7 points.

The “MASI Mid and Small Cap” index, which monitors the performance of small and medium-sized listed companies, declined by 0.55 percent to 1,797.21 points.

The “MAZ” index had closed trading last Friday with a gain of 0.64 percent.
