The 46th edition of the Asilah International Cultural Season will take place from June 29 to July 6 under the patronage of King Mohammed VI. This event is organized by the Forum of Asilah in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication (Cultural Sector) and the Municipality of Asilah.

The program for this season includes a mural painting workshop in the historic city, featuring 17 artists from Morocco, Spain, France, Lithuania, Romania, and Syria, alongside a children’s workshop and an exhibition of publications from the foundation.

The foundation also launched a series of training workshops for youth, children, and mothers in the fields of theater and self-development, in collaboration with the Zili Art Association, as well as a music education workshop for children led by professional musicians at the Bahrain Institute for Eastern Music.

During its extraordinary general assembly on March 22, the foundation announced that this year’s cultural season will consist of three sessions: spring, summer, and fall.

The spring session kicked off from April 6 to April 20, focusing on visual arts and featuring workshops in engraving, lithography, and painting, attended by 22 artists from Morocco and several Arab and European countries in the arts workshops at the Cultural Palace.

Additionally, the “Child’s Studio” organized expressive activities for children under the supervision of educational staff, while the Prince Bandar bin Sultan Library hosted literary expression and children’s writing workshops targeting over 100 children aged between 8 and 16, addressing the theme of “Travel Literature,” resulting in narrative and poetic texts to be published later.

The spring session also included a cultural trip for participating children to the International Book and Publishing Fair, which featured a commemorative seminar honoring the late Mohamed Ben Issa.

On April 12, the exhibition “Artistic Seasons of Asilah 24” was inaugurated at the Hassan II Center for International Meetings, running until September 7, 2025. The exhibition showcases artworks by artists from Arab and foreign countries, in addition to creations by children participating in the “Seasonal Talents” program.
