Rabat Hosts the Establishment of the Moroccan Association for Administrative Law and Administrative Sciences to Promote Academic Research

The city of Rabat has witnessed the establishment of a new framework dedicated to research and reflection on legal and administrative issues, embodied in the “Moroccan Association for Administrative Law and Administrative Sciences.”

This initiative was launched by a group of academic researchers from several law, economics, and social sciences faculties across Morocco, alongside professionals and experts from various national institutions, with the aim of enhancing academic research in the fields of administrative law and administrative sciences.

During its constitutive general assembly, the founding members approved the association’s bylaws and elected its executive office, which is headed by Ahmed Agawin, with Mohamed Mouden as vice president, Abdel Karim Haidra as secretary general, and Al-Hussein Al-Rami as his deputy.

The association, which adopts the principles of universality, democracy, and independence, aims to operate as a civil entity serving the public interest by supporting scientific production, publishing specialized works, and contributing to the dissemination of legal and administrative knowledge.

Among its objectives are to provide an academic publishing space for researchers, assist public actors in enhancing their competencies, and contribute to the development of a Moroccan school of administrative law based on diverse approaches that adapt to national peculiarities.

The association also prioritizes monitoring legislative and regulatory developments, establishing a simplified and open database in the administrative field, and developing partnerships with national and international institutions concerned with cultural and scientific exchange in this specialty.
