The International Football Federation (FIFA) inaugurated its African office in the capital of Morocco, Rabat, on Saturday, in the presence of FIFA President Gianni Infantino, CAF President Patrice Motsepe, and the President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Fouzi Lekjaa, along with several prominent figures in the sports world, including Samuel Eto’o, the President of the Cameroonian Football Federation.
It is noteworthy that the Moroccan Prime Minister, Aziz Akhannouch, signed the protocol for the opening of FIFA’s regional headquarters in Morocco last December.
The office being opened by FIFA in Rabat will be the first of its kind in North Africa.
