A group of Raja fans defended their rights following the recent announcement made by their team earlier this Thursday, which called for participation in the membership drive aiming to reach one thousand members before the start of the current sports season, making Raja and its supporters the first Moroccan team to achieve this milestone.
Many Raja fans told “Express TV” that the membership fee, which amounts to twenty thousand dirhams, is one of the biggest issues facing the Raja fanbase. They called on the club’s executive office to reduce the membership fee to five thousand dirhams to facilitate public participation and ensure success in this endeavor. Hundreds of supporters expressed their desire to join but stated they couldn’t commit to two hundred thousand dirhams annually, proposing five thousand dirhams as a condition for future membership in the Raja parliament.
It is worth noting that the membership foundation within Raja is considered the largest collective association of all Moroccan club members, with a total of 174 members who recently chose Jawad Ziyat as the team’s president after a competition with both Said Hsabat and Abdellah Berouain.
