Arrest of a Man and His Minor Son Possessing 6,000 Hallucinatory Pills at Casablanca Train Station
The elements of the Judicial Police in Casablanca arrested a man and his 15-year-old son on the evening of Friday, July 11, on suspicion of involvement in the possession and trafficking of narcotics.
The operation was conducted in coordination with the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance and resulted in the seizure of 6,000 pills of “Rivotril,” which the suspects were concealing upon their arrival at the Casablanca train station from one of the northern cities.
The detainees have been subjected to judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, to determine potential extensions of this criminal activity and to uncover other individuals involved in the trafficking of these prohibited pills.
