The discussions focused on ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between Morocco and Vietnam, in line with the directives from King Mohammed VI and the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Le Quang Long.

During the talks, Akhannouch praised the strength of Moroccan-Vietnamese relations and the mutual desire to elevate them, urging support for all initiatives aimed at developing economic cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting also served as an opportunity to reaffirm mutual opportunities, with Morocco seen as a potential gateway for Vietnamese investments into Africa, while Vietnam could act as a bridge for Morocco with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), which boasts a market of over 600 million consumers.

Additionally, they exchanged views on several regional and international issues of common interest and highlighted the notable progress in parliamentary relations between the two countries.
