Security forces in Agadir respond decisively to beach intrusion by foreign vehicle
The Agadir security services acted swiftly in response to a viral image on social media showing an SUV driving on the sands of the city’s beach, raising questions and comments about the vehicle’s foreign registration and the potential danger it posed to beachgoers.
Investigations by the relevant security units revealed that the incident involved a foreign driver operating the vehicle illegally on the sands of Agadir beach. The security source noted that the driver attributed his actions to ignorance of national regulations prohibiting vehicles from entering beaches.
The driver has been placed under judicial inquiry, supervised by the relevant public prosecutor, to uncover the circumstances of the incident and determine accountability, as well as to identify any violations attributed to him under applicable legal frameworks.
