Agadir Police Arrest Suspects in Organizing Illegal Immigration
In a security operation carried out by the Agadir provincial police, two individuals, one with a criminal record, were arrested on suspicion of forming a gang involved in organizing illegal immigration.
Based on accurate information provided by the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance, law enforcement successfully apprehended the two suspects in Agadir while they were in the act of preparing to execute an illegal immigration operation via the coastal areas of Agadir. A group of candidates for this immigration attempt was also caught.
Security sources reported that the search yielded significant amounts of cash in the possession of the suspects, as well as a light vehicle believed to have been used in this criminal activity, which was impounded immediately following the arrests.
Following the instructions of the competent public prosecutor, the organizers of this illegal activity, along with the other candidates for illegal immigration, were placed in custody pending further investigation into the details and circumstances of the case.
