The National Road Company of Morocco warns of peak travel during Eid al-Adha and calls for precautionary measures.

The National Road Company announced that the highway network will experience significant traffic congestion during Eid al-Adha, particularly on Thursday and Friday, June 5 and 6, from 3 PM to 10 PM, and on Monday, June 9, from 4 PM to 10 PM, coinciding with the return period.

The company urged motorists to take several measures to ensure safe and comfortable travel, including planning their journeys in advance, checking real-time traffic conditions via the ADMTRAFIC app, and reviewing and recharging their “Jawaz” toll account in advance via the app or at rest areas.

It also recommended monitoring weather conditions, taking breaks every two hours, and checking tires and the mechanical condition of the vehicle, while advising against using the emergency lane except in dire circumstances.

The company clarified that it has activated its usual “comprehensive vigilance” system during exceptional periods, by strengthening monitoring and assistance teams, maintaining equipment, intensifying coordination with relevant authorities, and providing continuous communication with travelers.

In conclusion, the company expressed congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and wished highway users a happy holiday and safe travels.
