Mustafa Baeitass, the Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament and official spokesperson for the government, stated that “the government, through the Ministry of National Education, Preschool Education, and Sports, has mobilized various resources to ensure the success of the certification process related to the regular session of the 2025 Baccalaureate examinations,” noting that “a series of measures have been implemented to ensure that the exams proceed under normal and good conditions.”
Regarding the experience of enhancing the security of the Baccalaureate certificate and transcript data through the production of secured certificates and the provision of an initial set of digital services accompanying the secure use of these certificates, which were innovations of the 2023 season under the former minister Chakib Benmoussa, Baeitass confirmed that “efforts have been made this year by introducing a range of innovations, such as electronic signatures for academy directors.”
The government spokesperson also highlighted, during the weekly meeting following the governmental council, other measures, such as “closely monitoring various pathways to protect Baccalaureate certificates and various documents from any attempts to alter facts or manipulate data.”
On the preparations of the Kingdom for the “Marhaba 2025” operation, the minister mentioned “enhancing maritime transport for passengers between Morocco and Southern Europe by accommodating expected flows during this summer season,” adding, “In this context, a total of 520 weekly trips will be secured, with a capacity of nearly 500,000 passengers and 130,000 vehicles per week.”
The government spokesperson continued, explaining: “To this end, a fleet consisting of 29 ferries from seven shipping companies will be operated across 12 maritime routes connecting Moroccan ports with their counterparts in Spain, France, and Italy.”
Baeitass also pointed out that “safety and security will be enhanced through improved monitoring mechanisms at borders, and close support will be provided by designating 24 reception centers; 18 within national territory and six abroad,” in addition to “mobilizing specialized medical teams on roads and rest areas, among others.”
The Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament and the government spokesperson also mentioned that “the consular centers will operate as usual with a shift system on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from June 15 to September 15”; this information was previously revealed by Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Living Abroad, on Tuesday during the weekly oral question session at the House of Councillors.
