Launch of the 46th Edition of the International Cultural Season in Asilah from June 29 to July 6

The Asilah Forum Foundation has announced the organization of the summer edition of its 46th International Cultural Season, held under the high patronage of King Mohammed VI, from June 29 to July 6, in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication (Culture Sector) and the municipality of Asilah.

Among the program’s activities, the foundation has included a mural painting workshop in the old city, featuring 17 artists from Morocco, Spain, France, Lithuania, Romania, and Syria, along with a workshop dedicated to children and an exhibition of the publications produced by the foundation.

Additionally, the foundation has launched a series of training workshops for youth, children, and mothers, focusing on theater and personal development in collaboration with the "Zilli Art" association. A workshop for musical education for children, supervised by professional musicians, is also set to take place at the Bahrain Institute for Eastern Music.

During its extraordinary general assembly on March 22, the foundation revealed its cultural season for this year consists of three sessions: spring, summer, and autumn.

The season commenced with the spring edition from April 6 to 20, which focused on visual arts and included workshops in engraving, lithography, and painting, featuring 22 artists from Morocco and several Arab and European countries within the arts workshops at the Culture Palace.

The "Child’s Art Studio" organized expressive activities for children under the supervision of educational staff, while Prince Bandar bin Sultan Library hosted workshops in literary expression and children’s writing, targeting over 100 children aged between 8 and 16, focusing on the theme of "Travel Literature," with narrative and poetic texts produced for future publication.

The spring session also included a cultural trip for participating children to the International Book and Publishing Fair, highlighted by a commemorative conference honoring the late Mohammed bin Issa.

On April 12, the "Asilah Seasons 24" exhibition was inaugurated at the Hassan II Center for International Meetings, continuing until September 7, 2025, featuring artworks from artists of various Arab and foreign countries, as well as creations by children participating in the "Talents of the Season" program.
