Moroccan Tangier faces Renaissance Berkane in the semifinals of the Throne Cup

Moroccan Tangier has qualified for the semifinals of the Throne Cup for the 2023-2024 season after defeating Olympique Khouribga with a score of 1-0 in the quarterfinal match held at the Saniat Rmel Stadium in Tangier. The winning goal was scored by Hamza Deria in the 78th minute, granting his team a spot in the final four.

Meanwhile, Renaissance Berkane secured their semifinals berth by overcoming RS Berkane on penalties (7-6) after the match ended in a 1-1 draw following regular and extra time at the municipal stadium in Kenitra.

The Royal Army opened the scoring through Abdelfattah Hadraf in the 34th minute, but Youssef Daou equalized for Renaissance Berkane in the 58th minute.

Both teams maintained the tie until the end of extra time, leading to a penalty shootout that favored Renaissance Berkane and earned them a showdown with Moroccan Tangier in the semifinals.
