Real Madrid’s management has reached a preliminary agreement with Brazilian star Vinícius Júnior to extend his contract until 2030, which includes a gradual salary increase.
According to the Spanish newspaper “AS,” Vinícius currently earns €15 million annually, but under the new contract, his salary will gradually rise to €20 million per season. The contract also includes additional bonuses contingent on achieving major individual awards such as the Ballon d’Or or “The Best” award, in addition to goals and assists.
Under the new agreement, Vinícius’s contract will extend for three more seasons, with the official signing expected after the conclusion of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
It is worth noting that Vinícius joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2018 from Flamengo. In the previous season, he played 52 matches for Real Madrid, scoring 21 goals and providing 18 assists.
