The Casablanca Stock Exchange commenced trading today, Friday, with an upward trend; its main index, “MAZ,” recorded an improvement of 0.08 percent, settling at 18,704.61 points.
The “MASI.20” index, which reflects the performance of 20 listed companies, also rose by 0.07 percent to 1,533.92 points. Additionally, the MASI.ESG index, featuring companies with the best ratings, advanced by 0.16 percent, reaching 1,289.75 points.
Furthermore, the “MASI Mid and Small Cap” index, which tracks the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises listed on the exchange, increased by 0.05 percent to 1,814.8 points.
The MAZ index had closed yesterday, Thursday, with a gain of 0.21 percent.
