Officially, Wydad Announces Omar Al-Soma
Today, Wydad Athletic Club unveiled their new Syrian striker Omar Al-Soma, a move aimed at strengthening the team’s lineup in preparation for their upcoming match against Juventus in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Al-Soma, who joins from Al-Orouba Club in Saudi Arabia, appeared in a presentation video shared by the club on their official social media channels, accompanied by the caption: “Omar Al-Soma… from Damascus to the Red Castle.”
It is noteworthy that the Syrian player joined Wydad on a temporary contract that will last for the duration of the team’s participation in the Club World Cup, where he is expected to make a strong impact on the Moroccan team’s attack in international competition.
