Moroccan club Tetouan expresses its strong discontent with player Reda Hajjah, who traveled to the United States for a leisure trip to support Wydad Athletic Club without prior permission from the club or adherence to the terms of the contract signed with the team’s sports company.

In the club’s official statement, it was noted: “This behavior coincides with the period designated for the medical rehabilitation program set by the club’s medical staff to expedite the player’s recovery and prepare him for a return to competitions as the new season approaches.”

The management also expressed its dissatisfaction with Hajjah’s appearance in video clips on social media among Wydad fans during his participation in the Club World Cup, asserting that such actions are inconsistent with the ethics of a professional player and his responsibilities to his club.

The statement clarified: “While we wish all Moroccan clubs success in international competitions, we view the player’s appearance in this manner among the rival team’s supporters as a clear violation of the principles of discipline and professionalism.”

The club confirmed that it has begun taking strict disciplinary measures against players who neglect their commitments, including holding disciplinary councils in accordance with internal regulations.

The statement concluded by asserting that the club’s management will not hesitate to protect the team’s interests and take all necessary legal and administrative actions to maintain discipline within the ranks, ensuring that operations run professionally and effectively.
