Members of the Wydad Casablanca management board have joined the team’s delegation in the United States as part of a supportive gesture to motivate the players ahead of their journey in the new edition of the Club World Cup.
Wydad will face Manchester City on Wednesday at 5 PM, in the opening match of the group stage. This encounter is part of Group G, which also includes Italian club Juventus and UAE’s Al Ain.
FIFA has appointed an international officiating team to oversee the match, assigning Italian referee Ramon Abate Ebel with compatriots Danilo Manis and Rafael Alves as assistants. Chinese official Ma Ning will serve as the fourth official.
