Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, emphasized on Wednesday that the United States cannot have a say in Iran’s uranium enrichment, as discussions continue between Iran and the U.S. regarding its nuclear program.
In a speech marking the 36th anniversary of the passing of the leader of the Iranian Revolution, Ayatollah Khomeini, Khamenei stated, “Why do you interfere in Iran’s decision to enrich uranium or not? You cannot have a say in that.”
