Jason Derulo Ignites the Casablanca Stage at the Inauguration of Music Week

Global pop star Jason Derulo lit up Casablanca last night with an extraordinary performance at the opening of the inaugural “Casablanca Music Week,” captivating audiences at the “La Casablanca” stadium with his energetic show and engaging interaction.

The night kicked off with a fireworks display that illuminated the city sky before Derulo took the stage, surrounded by his dance crew. His show was a dazzling mix of his most famous tracks including “Talk Dirty,” “Swalla,” “Wiggle,” and “Savage Love,” complemented by stunning visual effects and masterful dance routines.

Derulo expressed his immense joy at this artistic gathering, praising the positive energy and warm welcome he received from Moroccans, highlighting the special connection he felt with the audience that engaged with every moment of the concert.

Festival founder Hakim Choukraoui explained that this new cultural event is the result of over 25 years of experience in organizing events in Casablanca. He emphasized that the initiative aims to create a regular and sustainable cultural rendezvous that reflects the city’s vibrancy and enriches its artistic scene.

A comprehensive space has been constructed, featuring a cultural village with 20 exhibitors, dedicated spaces for partners, and a variety of shows categorized between “Gold” and “Black,” in a business model that organizers hope will be sustainable and transform the festival into a true cultural driver for the economic capital.

Larry Bourgeois, a member of the famous duo “Les Twins,” praised the Casablanca audience, describing them as “exceptional,” and noted that the city has become an artistic symbol blending modernity, authenticity, and sophistication.

The events of the “Casablanca Music Week” will continue until June 29, featuring a rich program combining music, cinema, sports, video games, and cultural exchange, creating a comprehensive experience that establishes a new space for creativity and art.
